Jaker's

We are trying hard to fit in as many festive activities as we can this fall because Goldie is seriously in heaven! We went with Mark and Paige and their kiddos to Jaker's in Springville. It is a cute pumpkin patch with lots of FREE activities... So fun!! She has loved seeing all the animals, pumpkins, and just walking around waving at people! This pumpkin patch even had a giant corn pit which Goldie LOVED! Seriously she was shaking with excitement, she could have stayed there all night. Except every time we looked away for a second she was trying to eat the corn... She likes to be naughty so she thought it was funny when we would hit it out of her hands. It is seriously so fun making memories with Goldie and Scott.

Gardner Village: Fall 2015

I don't know what it is... but all holidays are so fun with a baby! I love watching Goldie experience things for the first time. Her eyes are always filled with excitement and wonder, it's such a good lesson for me to look at life that way. We loved walking around Gardner Village and the petting zoo, Goldie even got her face painted (she was so still for it haha)! Goldie loved all the animals and was so "soft" giving them loves. She got a little nervous when a goat jumped up at her haha she was a little freaked out. Can't wait for more fun times with our little cutie.

Lagoon

We took Goldie to Lagoon this past week, and it was a blast! Scott and I both hadn't been there since 9th grade Lagoon day so we didn't know what to expect for Goldie. We went with our good friends, Nate, Sloane, Koko, and Norah. It was so cute to see the little girls on the rides. Goldie was a rockstar throughout the day and didn't cry on any of the rides, and some she seemed to really enjoy! Great memories, with great friends.

10 months

Goldie is ten months. I can't get over it. How is she almost one!? I'm dying over here!

CLOTHES:  Shirts/Dresses 6-12 months, but in her fall wardrobe I'm buying 12-18, She's long and skinny. Pants: 3-6 but they're floods, so we buy some 6-12. Diapers size 3

EYES: She has the clearest, blue as blue can be, beautiful eyes, with long, dark lashes over them. Lucky girl.

TEETH: 6! It made for some rough weeks, but so worth her new toothy grin!

MILESTONES:

GOLDIE TOOK HER FIRST STEPS!! This month Goldie has thought it would be cool to start walking at nine months. She takes steps from thing to thing, but when she's in a hurry, or has taken too many falls that day, her transportation of choice is crawling. Her record to date is 12 steps!! Go baby!

She has also started to be more chatty. Although it's mostly a language all her own, she has added "Hi" and "Bye" along with a wave. She also signs more, claps, and blows kisses, my favorite!

She slept through the night two nights in a row!! Wahoo! Those were the only two nights in her entire ten months... so we are still working on that. She has a routine, and everything... just doesn't want to miss out I guess! Who needs sleep anyway?

LIKES:

- stuffed animals. Loves giving loves, and kisses of course.

- food. Especially pizza, smoothies, ice cream, squash.... let's be real, she likes everything. We have a champion of an eater.

- helping mom. With laundry, unfolding folded clothes, taking everything out of it's place, but man it's cute.

- social settings. She lives for playing with other kids! She is just a social butterfly, and can't wait to say hi, and give loves. Especially to boys... sorry boy mamas in advance for my forward daughter, she's so sweet though!

- feeding herself. As you could imagine, it's super messy.

- exploring. Guys she's all over the place!

- books. She loves to read books.



DOESN'T LIKE:

The only thing I can think of is sitting still in church. She wants to be down and going to see all the kids. So most Sundays are spent in the hall with our busy girl!
