Goldie 15 Months

Weight: 20.81 lbs- 44%
Height: 31 in. 68%
Head: 46.6 cm 75%

Clothes: Size 4 diapers.. just moved up a size :(, tops in between 12-18, I've started buying 18-24 for summer. Bottoms- 6-12, and some 12-18 kind of fit.

Words: Mama/Mommee, dada, papa, nana, Aubee, up peez, hep me (help me), owee, boo (book), ba (ball), bebe, cheez, heyllo and hi, bye, no, ya, and eyes, "ha" (hot), "oh ya". She's quite chatty. She says other things that we don't understand and some things that sound reeeeally familiar. She is learning I love you... it sounds like "I yauv oo" so cute. She also signs thank you and eat... I am wanting to get away from the sign language now because she can talk pretty well.

Hair: Beautiful golden blonde. Her name is very fitting to her locks :) It is getting LONG! And she has frizzy hair like her mama. We were able to fit it into little piggies for the first time last week! I am dying with the cuteness!! She only lets me do them when she watches in the mirror.

Eyes: The prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen.

New:

-jumps (doesn't get off the ground but makes a noise when she pops up)

- stomps feet

- avid clapper

- front facing carseat. Game changer.

-can climb up furniture

-mastered the stairs

- the best eater ever!

-cutting like 3 new teeth.. she's been miserable.

We love Goldie so much and her sweet personality. She is so funny, and sweet, she is like my best little friend! It is the best watching her grow! She is busy, independent, spicy, but equally sweet. Loves to give loves and kisses. Meeting new friends. She is the friendliest little baby ever. I love you Goldie Sue.

14 Weeks

I am FINALLY out of the 1st trimester!! YAY! Actually... it has gone by a little faster than my pregnancy with Goldie... probably because Goldie is keeping me really busy!

Pregnancy Symptoms: I thought I was out of the morning sickness/throwing up phase... but unfortunately I threw up 3 times this week so far. So I am hoping this ends  soon! I am starting to feel less tired and have a little bit more energy which is really nice!

Weight Gain: 4 lbs so far. Last pregnancy I literally gained 50 lbs! Most of it came off pretty easy thanks to breastfeeding!

Cravings:  Anything and everything that is not good for me! Soft serve vanilla ice cream, fries (sweet potato fries), spicy McChicken sandwiches from McDonald's (weird right?!), and Capt'n Crunch cereal. So yeah eating pretty healthy over here!

Queasy: Smells-- dishes, milk, cold food that needs warmed up... I am literally gagging thinking about it! Yuck!

Maternity Clothes: Not really any yet, but I am about to whip out some pants! Last pregnancy I wanted to stay in my pants as long as possible... so uncomfortable!! I am all about comfort this time. My jeans are getting so uncomfortable because I am showing enough for someone to ask if I was pregnant.. :) Bring on all the maternity clothes!

Best Moment this Week: We went to the Doctor today and got to hear the baby's heartbeat! It took the doctor a little bit to find it but hearing it was the best feeling!

Boy or Girl?: You guys!! I have no clue. It differs every day for me! I would be so happy with either. If it was a girl Scott may let us have a third kid ;) if its a boy then we have a boy and girl! Scott thinks another girl. I hope to find out next week sometime!

2 "bebes"

I LOVE Goldie's personality! She is the most outgoing, friendly, and sweetest little girl! She is always keeping us laughing, chasing, and smiling. I swear she has some tom boy in her because man, she is waaaaay active. Other girls her age seem very mellow, and what not, but Goldie is always all over the place. I love it, but it  makes for some tiring days :)

On Sunday during class we said the opening prayer and after everyone said "amen" Goldie (loudly) says, "Oh yeah! I was dying it was too funny.

So I am now 12 weeks preggo... almost out of the first trimester! Thank heaven. And yes, I have an already pregnant belly, and yes have actually been asked if I am pregnant. I don't know how to feel about it, but I guess that's the down side of having a short body, and no torso... baby's got no where to hide! So Goldie too has been noticing my growing belly, and its safe to say she's in LOVE. She always wants to give baby loves and kisses, but it has to be my bare baby, she will just keep lifting up my layers until she finds it. When she does she gets so excited and squeals, "bebe!" We will see if these feelings remain once the baby gets here :)

These are moments I want to remember forever.

No place I'd rather be.

Sometimes we get caught up in everyone else and what they are doing, and I find myself feeling bad that I don't vacation in Mexico every weekend, or haven't taken Goldie to Disneyland yet. And I definitely don't look perfectly put together with full on makeup, and long curls, with an outfit from Anthropologie or Free People. Or I don't have a mansion that looks like it's from a West Elm magazine

The truth is... I maybe wash my hair once or twice a week if I'm lucky because I am bathing Goldie. I am usually wearing yoga pants, or sweats, even though I don't work out... ever, because I'm already getting chubby from this pregnancy, and sweats feel better than jeans. I don't always feed Goldie all organic meals, because I throw up like all the time. Sorry to my family for that one... lots of empty carbs. And changing diapers is becoming a full time job.

The reality of it is this is my real life, and I wouldn't change a thing. I love who I get to share this life with, and I love being a mom more than anything. I am grateful Scott has a job that allows me to stay at home with my babies and raise them! I am grateful for our house and that I get to fill it with love and memories. I am grateful to be a mom to the most amazing, smart little girl. I may be biased but she means the world to me. I am also grateful to get the opportunity to be a mommy again, there is no greater feeling.

I guess the point is, no matter what your situation is, try to make the best of it. Then you will grow to love it, and realize the blessings always outweigh the bad.

Thank you to Ali Middleton, an amazing photographer, (check her out) for taking these pictures of my family. They are so us. And I love them.

A couple weeks before these photos were taken one of my good friends Jess Tait did this super cute video! I love how it just shows our real life... toys, ball, and laundry :) there's nothing better! If you are needing a videographer for anything (weddings, missionaries, family shoots) check her out!!
