Goldie 18 Months

Weight: 22lbs 5oz. 46%
Height: 32.3 in. 68%
Head: 47.3 cm. 77%

Clothes: Size 4 diapers, 18-24/2T tops, 12-18/18-24 bottoms

Hair: Getting lighter, longer, and curlier by the day! We have a couple hairdos we do... pigtails, pigtail buns, half up top knot, ponytail, and on lazy days we wear it curly with a bow. So fun to do, and she loves getting her hair done.

Teeth: Got her molars.... making a grand total of 12 teeth! Six on top, six on bottom! We love her new cheesy grin!

New: Tried nursery for the first time last sunday, and she did awesome! She went right in and didn't look back. Every time I peeked in she was right in the mix just loving it!

I am amazed at how smart she is! Goldie catches on to things so quickly. If you ask her to say something she will try her hardest to copy you, but she mostly just speaks in her own little language with a few little words here and there. I am beginning to speak fluent toddler- which should totally count as bilingual haha! We try to say the alphabet at least once a day, and she will repeat the letters (it is so funny), then the other day we were counting and I was shocked when she knew what number came after one... "twooo" I was dying! I guess when I need her to listen I will count... so it's paying off in some sort of way :) She loves to read books, and sing when I rock-a-bye her, she tries to sing louder than me. Has an adventurous spirit and loves to swing and slide, go on rides, she is usually willing to try anything new. Something I need to learn! She is the perfect mix between girly and a tom-boy. She can dribble a soccer ball, and play catch and actually catch the ball most the time! Then she LOVES getting new clothes, and is constantly asking for "me" chapstick and lipgloss.

For my own records... I know this is probably only for the future me... but I have to remember somehow!

24 Weeks: Baby #2

I had my glucose test today... and I didn't pass out! I would say that's a win. The doctor said everything looks good, and that he would be surprised if I had diabetes... so fingers crossed!!

Pregnancy Symptoms:  Just feeling large and in charge! It is getting hard to bend over, I get winded from walking up the stairs, and back aches. Every night I am like wow, what workout did I do today... just chase goldie around... but it feels like I ran a 10k then hit the weights at the gym! Haha! I don't sleep soundly anymore, due to comfort issues and bladder issues ;) I have started to feel less nauseous and haven't thrown up in a week! So progress is being made!

Weight Gain:  About 15 lbs.

Blood Pressure: 107/69

Cravings: Who sells cheese fries, and has fry sauce!?? Because I need them! They sound so amazing all the time. Also my usual cravings of like chocolate, ice cream, chocolate cake.... literally the list is a mile long. Which is probably why I've gained 15 lbs already. But hey, baby made me do it :)

Queasy: Dishes, the thought of cooking meat, cold food that should be hot.

Movement: Baby girls' movements are starting to get bigger and bigger! It's so much fun! She seems to be a mover just like Goldie was... so I may have my hands full, but let's get real, I will either way right?

Goldie is still a little clueless as to the fact she is going to have a sister in like 3 months, but she does lift up my shirt and say "bebe" and kiss my belly. However, she now lifts her shirt up for me to kiss her "bebe". So obviously confused haha. I think having two babies is going to be a little crazy, but I am so excited for it. I can't wait to see Goldie become a big sister, because I think she will be the best. I am still shocked as to how mothers' hearts don't explode! Right when you think your heart is full, you squeeze in room for another sweetie, to have all your love.
